SAT Delayed

The SAT has been postponed in Maine and across the country and the world. The SAT in Maine is typically set to take place in early/mid April. For 2020, this was cancelled by the state due to health concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

According to the College Board website, all students that register for future exams that get cancelled due to public health concerns will get a refund. They go on to say that they are committed to giving additional testing options so that class of 2021 students will be able to take the SAT. They even go on to say that if the SAT needs to be taken at home, they are looking at how that might work.

Casco Bay Achievement will continue to support our students in any way that we can. We are going to offer two bonus SAT prep sessions (one math and one reading/writing) before the next available SAT date, at no additional charge for all of our Spring 2020 clients to attend. At this point, they would be held in advance of the June 6th test. If this exam gets cancelled as well, the next test would traditionally be at the end of August. We will keep you updated as we know more about the fate of the June 6th SAT.
